I am NOT telling you what YOU want, I'm telling you what they are called is all.
And if you are trusting in Spirit to bring you what you seek, why did you make this discussion?

no,you are incorrect. Not very psychic are you?
I was answering the OP. Not asking for help of any kind.
I didn't make the discussion. Again, I was responding to the OP.

My apologies for my mistake -which has nothing to do with being psychic, in thinking you started this discussion. I am on my phone and am limited in my view and navigation.
However- I still was not telling YOU what you wanted, only what that sort of psychic is called. There are others who read this and would not know the difference between a clairvoyant and a medium.
Either way, your post was not in response to the OP, it was to Jambo101.
And again, either way- there is absolutly no reason for you to be so defencive or take a stab at my 'psychicness'.

Psychics are not all knowing.

No, maybe not, but I guess they like power and control.

There is a great deal of responsibility which goes with the job and really they should all know better than to give readings for other people. You can catch all kinds of undesirable things from mediums and psychics and clairvoyants and whatever other names you want to call these people.

Whatever happened to the idea of free will? As soon as 'stuff' is pulled out of someones fields then free will and respect has vanished. It is not respectful to go poking about in there and really it is none of their business. Any "being of light" should know that perhaps, which makes us wonder why they are doing this for their "loved ones". If they truly loved them they would respect them and their free will choice, wouldn't they?

bring it on peeps.

So then why do you think some people have psychic ability? What's the use if they are not to use it?

This is true. Probably a lot of people have gone to a psychic to find out about deceased loved ones, and found out the psychic didn't have that particular ability.

People like power and control, be it a cop, a politician, a teacher or anyone else, but the majority of people are not that way. So to say that psychics are just on a power trip is not a accurate judgement.
Not all psychics, especially genuine ones, are out for the power and control.

Catch something? Like what, rabies?

How has free will vanished?

As goes psychics poking and not being any of their business, how is that so when a person has asked the psychic for information. And I know that if someone asks me about something, and I'm shown a few things, but I'm confused, it's because there is something being withheld, that I am not to know or share.

Wow, weird thread. Hm. Hoping this forum doesn't get trolled by skeptics any more than this...or even this much.

OCPaul20 - the idea of free will is an interesting one and I think this is something a psychic needs to be very careful about when giving a reading, in an ethical sense. My personal belief is that you can get a reading and a legit psychic may see things that will happen should you (or your loved ones) continue on a certain path, or have a choice of several. I also believe that the reader is given information to tell you by guides, but I guess that's another thread. However, a bad psychic (and I don't mean dishonest, I mean just not great with people and not good at their job) can deliver information in a disturbing way.

This actually happened to me and I don't want to get into the details but someone said something absolutely would happen that was pretty upsetting, he'd been recommended and I wondered if I had free will to change the situation. It still bothers me actually, but I suspect I do have free will to change it, because something else he said came to pass recently but in a different way than he saw it.

(he saw a close relative in a nursing home and said she would be going into the nursing home, and it would be very hard for me - as it happened, I went with her to visit someone in a nursing home, and it was difficult).

We haven't had too many problems lately, but every now and then .....

I'd like to remind everyone of the stickied Guidelines thread at the top of the forum. Follow those, and all will be well.

In the meantime, this:
