This has always interested me in learning about the paranormal. In some situations whenever I hear about a paranormal team that goes out to investigate something some say that they claim to have a spirit follow them like in Ghost Adventures where some Ghosts from their various locations would follow them home. How does that work, and have you ever been followed?
It's never happened to me but it's the biggest reason why I'm a little scared to go to a crazy haunted place like, say Waverly Hills Sanitorium where there are thousands of spirts. I'm guessing that, for whatever reason, they will just attach themselves to the person and follow them home. I guess they just walk (er float) alongside them or hitch a ride in the car or maybe on the bumper...
Whatever the reason is that they decide to do this, it freaks me out. The last thing I want if I'm going to visit a place is to have something come home with me. I have this long list of places I want to go, but I haven't gone for this very reason.
It's a great question, and I'd also like to know why this happens, and to certain people. I can see it happening to a psychic or medium, because I believe spirts are drawn to this person already? But even to an average person, I really wonder what the reason is also.
I have the usual collection of family spirits who pop up now and then.
Junior, our resident spirit, follows me from my porch to my truck if I have to go somewhere at night.
Then again, I don't make a habit of going to abandoned places and disturbing the "residents" either.
