grateful for so many things today

A relaxing day off with a fun movie

my dog and even the bad circumstances that contributed to me adopting her (trying to find a silver lining from a situation I have resentment about.)

PMS because I am not pregnant , though I'm fertile and I should be grateful for that when and if I need that!

Men who are open and understanding , women too, like my boss. There are a lot of good people out there and it is better to focus on them rather than the not so good ones

So grateful for having work I enjoy for the most part and many nice people surrounding me there too.

That's so hard for many of us isn't it? I could be liked by everyone else in the room and I'll be upset about the one who doesn't and that can give you a skewed view of your own lovableness. Much better to focus on those who love you because like you said, most people are loving and kind though they may have their moments.

Anyway, I'm learning to be grateful for those who don't or didn't like me in the past--they have caused me to be much more assertive and to try harder to prove myself and that's big with someone like me who would rather and just sit quietly under the cork tree and smell the flowers.

Grateful for a 2 hour nap yesterday that was much needed!

I think we're on the same wavelength. Focus on those who love you, they're not hard to find.

Grateful for good listeners and tactful people.

Grateful I got some extra sleep the last few days.

Grateful I am able to buy little gifts for those who love me.

Grateful for the confidence my employers and coworkers have in me to take over as press master. Did my first official job on the manual press, do another one tomorrow.
Grateful for the big raise that comes with that! Knew I would get one after being with the business for a year, but did not expect the amount- woohoo!
(Good timing too)
Grateful for being able to figure out those triple equation math problems and then got them right on the test (kept getting them wrong in the homework) and that this current chapter is a cake walk.

Posting because I came across this today

I no longer give to takers.

So simple, so brilliant and I felt someone here would be grateful if I shared that affirmation.

I, myself, am grateful I no longer give to takers.

Grateful for telecommunications so that I can talk to my loved ones who are far away, every day.

Grateful that I am able to stay home with my kids when they are ill. (One with stomach flu on Friday and one home with it today).

Grateful to have so much beauty right outside my window. The leaves are starting to change color, and the abundant wildlife amazes me daily.
