What do you think of "The Dead Files" (ghost, psychic)

New season of Paranormal Witness is broadcasting - I've watched two episodes, one of my favorite paranormal shows. I don't know if Animal Planet is still doing new episodes of the Haunted -- also a great series. I tend to prefer the story telling shows to the reality TV type shows
I think if Amy is not a medium, she's the best actress on tv today. That said, she's not a witch, and some of the advice she gives people smacks of bs. I think she's out of her depth when it comes to some of the stuff she says. She also doesn't seem to care about any of the dead people. Hanz Holzer and crew always tried to help these lost souls move on. Maybe that's just not her bag.
I think one of the things I liked about the first episode I watched was the difference between this show and the other ghost hunter shows. They freak out if they hear some tiny sound. The first time I saw Amy, she said " He's trying to appear like death, but it's just a dead guy" in a nonchalant way.
Lately she's been talking a lot about aliens, and that is off-putting. Aliens are different than dead people. It's a whole other area of paranormal research.
Other fans here, what are your thoughts?
IMO she should very well be going into aliens. Especially if that's what she is feeling that is is communicating with. There's no yes or no if aliens can be inter dimensional and it could very well be what they are. People are quick to peg demons when they have issues with paranormal entities, when in fact the demons(Gods of heathens) are less likely than other beings to be affecting people.
They dramatize real cases and interview the participants, so in that sense it's legit. Whether the participants are making it up or there's some pathology there behind the experiences is another matter.
Don't know for how long, but ALL the PW shows are ''on demand'' on SyFy right now.
''Ghost Hunters'' is like watching paint dry, IMO. Just not fun anymore and it reeks boredom and burn-out. Put it to bed, guys! LOL
I'm pretty sure I read that this was GH's last year but I didnt pay too much attention because I only watch that show if I'm seriously desperate.
I really enjoy the new show Haunted Case Files on Destination America channel. Paranormal investigators talk about their cases and they have evidence in the form of EVPs or video that they show. That show is creepy.

Season 1 is available through Amazon Videos and the iTunes store, for those who are interested but don't get Destination America. There are only three episodes available, don't know if it's a short season or newer episodes are coming.
Do you think the woman is really seeing dead people or it is all fake?
Who cares its a tv show airing solely for your entertainment. If you watch this kind of show you must believe in ghost, physics,and the paranormal or you wouldnt watch it. Whether shes for real or not is insignificant i personally believe there is something to it all there are ghost and spirits, theres definitely evil things and people in this world with many negative and positive special gifts. No matter what you read that so and so said or some scientist, theologist, or some other over educated theorist wants to tell you nobody really knows anything about whats really out there or whats going on as to why we are here, how we got here, and even how long weve been here. When they can stand up and tell me how the pyramids were built and how the planets circle the sun without getting pulled in or drift out from it then i might get on board with what they have to say. There are only two facts in this world that they can say for a fact. They dont have the first clue one how man could of carved them blocks from any elevation on a mountainside and set them on the ground to move a 1000 miles. They have dug up some skeletons so there were dinosaurs but nobody knows how they really lived what their environment was really like or how long ago it was. The sun is extremely hot and only God really knows how hot it is or how far any light is or whats past mars it was only two years ago that they finally circled that planet and got their camera back. So from one human being to another believe what ever your heart tells you and what you want to believe in because not one damn person on this planet really knows **** except we are born have to eat, ****, sleep, and die.
I believe it, because one of our managers had this ability, and I knew her personally, she was not the type to make stuff up,, and she did not consider this ability to be a 'gift', she wished she didnt have it.
She described seeing a man that had recently died at our store, according to her, he was walking around doing the various jobs he used to do when he was alive and working as a manager, she said it was almost like he didnt realize he was dead.
