I'd say we all have a fascination with the darker side of existence, whether we admit it or not, because it's simply part of the world, including us. Without darkness there is no light, without evil no good, I think the contrast fascinates us.

Last I checked, the psychology community does not believe nor support the idea of "evil" Evil implies supernatural, unexplainable force at work. Etc, etc. I did not tile this thread, "bad behavior, or learned bad behavior, or psychological explanation for doing or thinking, or being drawn to bad deeds, etc, etc.

The thread is in the right place.

I don't really have a dark side, I just have a caustic sarcasm if I don't keep it in check. Also I'm guilty of watching those fail videos on you tube where chubby people get stuck on treadmills... It's funny and awful at the same time. It's definately not my main hobby though.

Well since I was a kid, maybe 30 years ago, I have been into Horror Movies and Heavy Metal. Society deems this "Dark", but I can't hurt a fly...literally. I pick up bugs in the house and set them outside lol. Slayer is my favorite band and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre is my favorite movie, but that's all just mystery/fantasy-fiction. In the summer I feed the ducks with my headphones on to "dark music" it's just the norm for me.

No, I don't have a dark side or evil tendencies and it makes me sad that others on here do.

I think we all do.

It's easy enough to step into your dark side but learning how to recognize evil and knowing how to walk away are lessons which elevate your soul, despite the cynicism emanating from your dark side and from others of that lower mindset.
