Any of you believe in concept of reincarnation and past life experiences? (ghost, light)

We live nine lives at each phase and there are 9 phases which totals 81 lives to finally be the complete spirit you were created for. Your nine lives here on Earth, which I believe is the beginning before moving on to the next 9 lives, may consists of being male in one life, female in another, and I would think that includes any life on this planet, not just a human being. Your memory is supposedly wiped when you begin the next life but there may be feelings of deja vu that come to you and that is when you feel you lived a past life. That's my belief.

I believe in past lives. My mom said when I was little, I used to call my older sister Lily (her name is Karen). When I was about 3, my mom asked me why I kept calling her Lily and I said because that was her name before. She asked me where I lived before and I said Utah. We lived in South Carolina, had never been to Utah and what 3 yr old knows any names of the states unless they were exposed to them. I can't recall the conversation and I don't have any memory of thinking anything like that. My mom is a devout Christian and believes otherworldly things are evil. She said she was really freaked out when I said that and didn't ask me anymore questions after that.

Yes, I believe in past lives.

My past life regressions have answered a lot of personal questions for me and have helped me to understand many personal aspects, tendencies, and opinions that made no logical sense whatsoever to me before. I had no idea why I felt the way I do (sometimes quite passionately) about certain things that have nothing to do with my life right now. Now I get it.

So, it's been quite comforting as I explore these past lives, but quite a shock as well.

Ever since i was about 3 or 4 years old I had this recollection of being asked what sex I wanted to be before i was born. For some reason, I chose to be male even though I really wanted to be female. I don't know if it was a dream or recollection.

Do you go to a therapist or do self hypnosis?

I feel like everyone should experience a past life regression (some are more easily hypnotized than others, some people have to work at it a little) and then see what they think about it.

Experiential knowledge is the way to go.

Remembering 2 past lives on my own...has made me very very humble.

My God, I can not believe how dumb I am and how Loooong it
takes me to finally digest something and actually apply it....

I actually strongly believe in past lives and reincarnation. I don't know if it is just my imagination, but I think I looked exactly like my former teachers daughter in my past life. I just have this hunch within my soul, that I looked like my former teachers daughter in my past life. I dont have past life memories or anything like that, just a hunch. I have been praying about this to god. Maybe I am just delusional lol but I do believe it's possible I was someone else in my past life.

What you are talking about I think is some fake westernized interpretation of Buddhism and reincarnation (although I am sure you can also find eastern sects of Buddism that also take reincarnation literally).

That depends on the "school" of Buddhism you're talking about. Tibetan Buddhism does believe the same person reincarnates, and that he recalls the scholarly teachings he learned in a. past lifetime (if a learned monk), and that he will recognize objects that belonged to him in a past lifetime. They don't call it a "soul"; they use the "spiritually correct" (or dogmatically-correct, depending on your POV) language, and call it "the very subtle mind" or consciousness, but it's obvious what they're really describing. This stems from ancient beliefs about the soul, that were common around Inner Asia and Siberia.
