I was using the bathroom at work and the toilet seat in the stall was cherry red almost like a heated toilet seat. I wasn't sitting on it and I work nights by myself. All of the other stall seats are normally black and so is this one

I don't wish to disclose where I work at this time, but it is an older government building in DC.

Nothing like this came up in google.

Any ideas?

One broke, And the only replacement color in stock was red at the time. Can't really see any other reason, They could not have a commode missing a seat so they replaced it without regards to decor. Simple.

I am looking back at my post and I didn't mention the fact that when I went back to do a double take on it since I couldn't believe my eyes, the seat was black like every other seat.

It might have just been a weird moment or brief eye strain related to differences in lighting. Are the stalls somewhat shaded, or are there lights above the stalls?

If nothing reached up and bit your butt, forget about it.

You must have been on the hot seat that day

Maybe I was half asleep...I think I'd know it though. I am allowed to sleep during the night shift so long as I am ready at a moments notice when I am required to work.

The lights are not directly on the stalls. That seat got nowhere near my behind!!
