It must be really easy to fake anything done by a ghost box for someone with a decent electronics background. I'd do it via remote control transmitter.
Is that a hobby; for what purpose? Curious....could a ghost box be used this way?

What do you mean? If you are asking if making electronics is a hobby, then answer is "yes". I know people who make screen accurate R2-D2s that are controlled by remote control.
A fake ghost box could be used with a remote control to create fake responses. It's not like James Randi or anyone else there to inspect it and certify the equipment.

As far as electronics and how someone could go about simulating and fakery with evp, Im clueless...
Though, my belief evp itself real. Thanks for answering questions.
It is entertainment but no evidence in this show is faked.
They often investigate from 16 hours to a week to get the evidence stuffed into a 44 minute episode.
This show reminds me of a similar themed show first broadcast here in the UK in the early 2000s called "Most Haunted"
Same premise: a group of ghost hunters visiting disused prisons, hospitals, breweries, factories, residential homes, churches etc: they'd be some history about the place, some anecdotal evidence etc. By nightfall the crew would position themselves in different parts of the building with their fairly basic ghost-detecting equipment.
The group would also have a spiritual medium, who would sometimes call out and antagonize the grounded ghost, and that's when it all kicked off with strange noises/sights, and the crew members would all start screaming etc.
To be honest, the first 3 or 4 seasons were pretty decent, as we as being genuinely scary, but not overly conclusive these places were actually haunted. But as its popularity rose, so did the pressure to better the ratings. And it all came off the rails by Season 7/8 - too much fakery, too many people screaming for no good reason; and then the ultimate revelation, the medium was himself totally fake!
The earlier seasons of Ghost Hunters may have been authentic. As time went on, the episodes became more ridiculous and they were always catching something on video or their EVP device. Some of the experiences looked hokey as hell, too.

Hilarious!!! I love South Park. But this Ghost Hunters show is so dumb. They always say "WHAT WAS THAT???" but yet I never hear anything. Then the guy conjures up a small sound and says, "YOU see! He said, "I'm hungry. Where's the beef? "
