First there was A Haunting, then came Paranormal Witness and is still coming out with episodes, now a new show similar to those just began late 2013, it's called When Ghosts Attack. Anyone seen it? What do you think? I like it. I'm a fan of the other TV shows.
Saw it. I often watch it for unintentional laughs and entertainment. while there may be an element of truth to the stories they will be exaggerated as it is TV after all.
WGA is like a more sinister version of A haunting I think, Where many of the stories do not have happy endings.
I have also seen something called "A Haunting-Back From The Dead" which is a continuation of "A Haunting", which I really got a kick out of- new episodes, a tiny bit of difference in the opening, but basically the same show.
I doubt ANY tv show can do justice to what one might encounter in dealing with the "paranormal", however one chooses to define it. Makes good "fiction" but when "fiction" becomes reality, the "truth in telling" might make a tv viewer, change channels faster than heart beat. Some stuff will have you looking over your shoulder
A Haunting always freaks me out - so scary! The best one was A Haunting In Connecticut" probably so good they made a movie out of it. I haven't seen When Ghosts Attack. I love the stories and backgrounds of haunted places. I wish that they would make a series about Hawaiian ghost stories because, for some reason, those are really interesting and bone chilling! Glenn Grant used to do a radio show called Chicken Skin and he also wrote a couple of books about Hawaiian haunted places.
I'm about to the point of creating my own show on which the writers of some of the really bad paranormal tv shows are exposed to public abuse for their poor taste and not thinking about the level of tv programs that the tv watchers expect.
I love that show. I was into ghost adventures, I wanted more then a group of guys walking around a location with their evp, emf detectors. I am waiting on the Paranormal Witness to come out with a new episode and the dead files
