Beings the book is from Germany and its been a while since I have been books shopping, I'm not sure what to think. If the doctors and the story are verifiable by witnesses- it one heck of a story and some pretty solid evidence that reincarnation or some psychic mediumship is something that the world needs to take a second and serious look at.

I'm inclined to believe it since I believe in reincarnation myself.
Someone miles away, who I never met, told me in a past life reading that I had died by spear through the back shoulder rib area. I did not know at the time, but discovered days later, I have a very faint (but big and oblong) birthmark in that very spot.

would be pretty crazy if it is legit. Hard to explain it away as nonsense when the 2 year old kid brings you to the site of a buried corpse and ax after claiming he was murdered via ax.

Apparently, the story of the young boy was told to Trutz Hardo by Dr. Eli Lasch of Israel, who supposedly witnessed it or was involved in the investigation. The questions one has to ask about this are:

(1) How much of the story did Dr Lasch actually witness, and how much did he get from the accounts of other people (some of whom may have had a vested interest in data supporting reincarnation due to their Druze religious beliefs)?

(2) Did Hardo accurately represent the story Dr Lasch told him, or embellish or change it in some way? What's the evidence that Lasch actually communicated with him in depth about this story

(3) Has the translator altered the meaning of the text in any way?

I remember years ago reading a story involving a scientific research study that seemed too fantastic to believe, and did some research. Not only did the researcher not exist, neither did the university where he supposedly did the research. One has to wonder about this story, especially since it seems to have a "friend of a friend told me" quality about it.

I'd be interested in hearing a response to the above from someone who's read Hardo's book.
