So it was around 11pm and my wife and I were driving on the highway near San Juan back to our hotel. In the sky in front of us I see what appeared to be an airplane coming in for a landing. What I found weird was that it was making an extremely fast descent. Almost as if it was going to crash. Kind of resembled a shooting star. Even my wife noticed it without me saying anything and commented on how fast it was descending. Next thing you know just as it appeared it was going to land it takes back off and heads up but extremely slow. The both of us were like WTF!?? After that the object just stays still hovering in one spot without moving. I told my wife...."There is no way that a normal airplane/jet can make a descent at such a high rate of speed only to not land and take back off at less than half the rate of speed then just stay still in the sky without budging. Now I couldnt make out the shape because it was dark out. I assumed it was an airplane as it happened near an airport. All I could make out was a set of lights moving in the manner of which I described.
For the record this happened on 5/27/14 in the san juan area.
