So I would like to know, what haunted locations are within your area about 100 miles? I currently live in LV so there are hundreds of locations that are probably haunted here. How about you?

Chretien Point

Only 11 miles from my house. Sister stayed the night there for their anniversary. Open for weddings and overnight stays. The staircase was the inspiration for the one used in Gone With The Wind.

I do not believe in the paranormal, but have investigated many local spots. Some of the most well known are:

Winchester House, San Jose
Alcatraz, SF
Toys'R'Us Sunnyvale
Jack London Park (can't remember exact city)
Black Diamond Mines, Anitoch
Mount Diablo, Antioch
Golden Gate Bridge, SF
Bay Bridge, SF
Presidio, SF
Golden Gate Park, SF

A days drive away:
Disneyland, Orange County
Carson City, NV

There are probably dozens of lesser ones that I can't think of at the minute.

Never seen anything paranormal, but I have come up with some good debunkings.

The Whaley House (Old Town, San Diego). And the Hotel Del Coronado (my sister and I stayed in the haunted room once, some years back, and nothing particularly eventful happened - some weird noises but didn't seem anything too ghostly). There's a bunch of locations in the books I have (a lot near Old Town), and when the weather cools down a bit I might go exploring. Apparently near Harmony Grove drivers have reported seeing a white lady. Happens at night and day.

There are Haunted Tours (I think you can see the Whaley House at night) and I've been wondering if I should take one. I think they're at night, too. I saw a Ghost Hunters program recently at my local library (not the tv show people, but actual local ghost hunters) and it kinda creeped me out, though.
