What exactly is the damage done to this forum or its readers by someone resuscitating a post? There are no forum rules about not responding to an old and non-closed discussion and commenting on it. In fact, if you visit an older thread, you'll see the following at the bottom: Please update this thread with any new information or opinions. This open thread is still read by thousands of people, so we encourage all additional points of view.
Guess no one notices that stuff, either. Sheesh, indeed.
