The other possibility that occurred to me is that it's a fake like the pickled baby dragon that was making the rounds some years ago (or the old timey "Fiji Mermaid"), or a clever construction by a rogue taxidermist (artists who put together imaginary animals). Or Santilli's "alien autopsy".

I hope this forum hasn't sunk to the level of circus freak-show scams, "mysteries" from doctored photos, and other sensationalist hype. I've been enjoying reading the threads about people's experiences with psi phenomena, and the like.

I think what is going in the fact that most of those who come to this forum are open to all the possibilities, Even if it seems silly at first. There is always that what if this is really something. Unfortunately there are many fraudsters, people looking for attention. Some make ridiculous claims, (Captured/Killed a Bigfoot) Some go further in making up a prop (Billy Meier and his flying plates and chandeliers.) Some are so poorly done it's laughable even. All we can do is check it out and make a decision for ourselves. I think many want something interesting to be finally found. Lots of interesting subjects populated by lots of hoaxes. I think this part of the forum still has lots of non-cryptid stuff on it still.
