I think shapeshifting is real, honestly. I've seen enough of those crazy conspiracy theory videos on YouTube to believe it. Some are edited and complete BS, while some make some really interesting points with believeable evidence. Also, some old writings on ancient walls in Europe and Africa suggest that shapeshifters possibly existed. Shapeshifting probably stems from alien existence. Maybe some people are aliens and we don't know it? Possible theory...

Some people probably hate their own existence as shapeshifting "aliens" and deny what they are. Same with some people denying their heritage or denying facts. Ya never know.... hehehehe

I think the native American and other cultural stories were allegories for trusting strangers that you meet in the wild.

They could also go FAR back in oral tradition to even be representative of groups that would lure in and cannibalize strangers.

There were several south seas tribes in the 1900's that had that very reputation and that happily met European explorers and escorted them in-land to meet their chief where they were dispatched out of sight and eaten. This is well documented by a variety of sources.

So, no...I don't believe that there are PHYSICAL shape-shifters there are undoubtably dangerous predatory humans that were shape-shifters in terms of their behaviors to lure in and then rob\kill\rape\ or even eat fellow travelers....and as we all know they still exist.

Interesting logic... could make sense. It could be literal.. but honestly, we'll never know

Good end point. I believe that humans controlled beasts so as to make people believe it was them in other form. Actual morphing, leaves me skeptical on that count. However,, some things I have seen leaves me believing the control that can be exerted upon beasts, is formidable. And bordering paranormal.

Isn't Dogman supposed to be based off of Werewolves? Or... is Dogman actually a REAL Werewolf, thought by people as its own special creature??

There could potentially be thousands of people like Dogman out there. Maybe they are the Werewolves we all think of as just one Dogman. I'm not sure. I don't want to go too in depth with this reply. Just saying what I think. Just Google'd Dogman BTW
