Therefore, the notion that there are covert facts or doctrines that could be disclosed to us may be mistaken
As a former British Civil Servant who has signed the Official Secrets Act several times, I was disappointed to find that the only secrets that I could have divulged were to do with matters as mundane as analyses of the costs of raising taxes &c. And when administrations or governments come to reveal their 'secrets', some time after categorising such, what is declared is seldom even interesting. If anyone here has evidence that there are more important secrets out there, I should like to see it
The only secret that would be mind blowing would be the disclosure of Extraterrestrial life or something even more like time travel, inter-dimensional travel or where Jimmy Hoffa is. You can bet any secrets like this will stay secret s.
