Is life just a never ending recycling process you think?

I don't think that we live just one life.

I do believe in reincarnation, and think that the soul has multiple lives.

How many lives and how much recycling I don't know.

It's interesting to ponder, though.

God Recycles. I remember those T-shirts from the 1970s.

The University of VA has a department dedicated to the study of reincarnation. You can read one of their articles here:

I don't think it's a matter of recycling as much as coming back to learn lessons and evolving with every new life we live.

There are many credible books on the topic if you're interested.

One, and I consider it the best, is "The Spirit's Book" by Alan Kardec.
You want to learn about life, death, afterlife, that is the book to read.

I'ts available for download free in PDF.
Just google the title, click on the link for the download.

The Buddhists, Hindus, Sikhs, Jains, neo-gnostics, members of certain tribal religions, Theosophists and their New Age offspring (like the Unity Church) are mostly going to say yes. Members of the Judeo-Christian traditions plus Zoroastrians, and other religions like Shinto are mostly going to say no.

Since you ask, I'm one of those closed-minded Eastern Orthodox Christian types. No, there's no such thing as reincarnation.

Kill me now if I have to come back again, then kill me again and again and again. Once was enough. We are chemical beings with a sequence of DNA given to us by our parents. That's what makes us unique. A different set of parents means a different set of DNA and therefore a different person. Which brings us to the soul. Are we transformed into magical beings as soon as we die capable of processing thought without a brain to do it? My answer would be no. If there is no consciousness after death then there is no personality. If there is no personality how does that electrical energy that was once us get recycled? I think it's more logical to believe that it gets absorbed into the environment rather into another human being that wouldn't be here without a biological start. Reincarnation? No thanks and no way.

If people get reincarnated, then animals do, too (people ARE animals).
And why shouldn't plants have another go at it, too? The more research done on them, the more they seem self-aware.

Both an astrologer and a palmist told me I have an old soul. Maybe they say that to everyone.

I can certainly see the life lessons I learned this time around.

I dunno if we reincarnate. Kind of doubt it.

I've dreamt of my past lives about ten times, they all explained my passions and interests.I have no doubt that we return again and again.
