West Virginia. Seems it is again making the rounds. A show about a 2009-2012 incident was recently on Paranormal Witness: True Terror. Apparently, it stopped when they went away.

This one is freaky. It appears to be some kind of interdimensional and or multi-frequency entity, and can control the environment around it, once it makes a connection. Your all thoughts?

Have you seen the movie The Mothman Prophecies? I thought it was a good movie. I passed through Point Pleasant this past year. The Mothman Museum was interesting.

Saw it was a good movie. Loved the part with the creepy phone call. They have been showing it on cable recently on repeats.

Its an interesting legend to read about.

The Mothman is interesting to me because, after having read the book and seen the movie, I feel that the more you focus on it, the more likely you are to have a bizarre experience of some type.

It's an old movie, the only part I can think of at the present moment is where two people are in a car and the bridge collapses? I also remember it was ummmm.. the guy that starred in' "The officer and a gentleman"? - Richard Geer ( Gads I hate when I can't think of something as easy as that) Also remember mothman was always by a streetlight. ( moonlight, maybe)

Of course I have. The movie was incredible! And more true to the real life account than many would believe, not too much made up stuff. It was also one of the first movies I ever saw. I liked it because it was not "scary." It earned 3 out of 4 stars, critically. A very, very good early memory from young adulthood. (2001. *edit: Ok. 2002.)

This is interesting to me because the new account happened between 2009-2012. So. Not a one-time deal..

Wake up, Number 37.

This thing is creepy! And then it just seems to go away...

Where would you expect to find a moth?

It was a very good movie. Very different than I was expecting.

But every time someone mentions The Mothman, I can't help but picture this:
