It's quite interesting to see that people see aliens from another dimension or far away galaxies as the most likely explanation for UFO sightings. It's like finding a beer missing in my fridge and then reasoning that Fidel Castro took it as opposed to say my dad.
LOL it was also said at one time that it was more likely to get struck by lightening then for man to ever go to the moon. Im sure the person who said that never got struck by lightning

Ignoratio Elenchi or Red herring as this fallacy of irrelevance is commonly referred as.
Truly, what you have just said makes no sense and is indeed irrelevant.
Quote:
Ignoratio elenchi (also known as irrelevant conclusion or irrelevant thesis) is the informal fallacy of presenting an argument that may in itself be valid, but does not address the issue in question. "Ignoratio elenchi" can be roughly translated by ignorance of refutation, that is, ignorance of what a refutation is; "elenchi" is from the Greek έλεγχος, meaning an argument of disproof or refutation.[1] (Some sources give by ignorance of the issues or even by ignoring the issues as a translation of ignoratio elenchi. This is linguistically impossible as a translation of the Latin phrase.)
I asked why people immediately conclude advanced Alien civilizations when they see strange lights and I get something irrelevant, thus Ignoratio Elenchi.
We have further testimony from astonauts. The other night Astronaut Edgar Mitchell said on a radio interview that "we have been visited". Mitchell said it is a real phenomena and the UFOs have been covered up by the government for a long time. Mitchell said he's been inside military circles and they know we've been visited and talk about it behind closed doors. Mitchell says he's been involved in certain research committees and knows people who know the real story. Here are some other things he said in this interview:
- "There is quite a bit of contact going on"
- "The Roswell crash was real"
- "Not all UFOs are of ET origin. Some are home-grown. But some are ET crafts"
- "Alien intent is not hostile"
- "Some others involved in the Moon landing also know the truth"
The interview the other night was the first time Astronaut talked about UFOs so openly.
"Some others involved in the Moon landing also know the truth"
remember what I said about the moon? the orgional film has mysteriously disappeared. There are anomomlies and evidence of "photoshopping" in the publically released NASA film. Neil Armstrong rarely makes public appearances and a former NASA communications director said that Armstrong said he was two UFOs on the edge of a crater on the moon watching them. All the Apollo 11 astronauts resigned shartly after the moon landing. They must have been shaken up by what they saw.
Isn't Edgar Mitchell the same guy who believes in esp and healing from afar?
"Mitchell's interests include consciousness and paranormal phenomena. During the Apollo 14 flight he conducted private ESP experiments with his friends on Earth."
There's always someone who knows someone who......
But where's the hard evidence?
A possible/probable reason already put forward for that earlier in this thread.
Or tired of covering up for a hoax?
Have you ever thought that Buzz Aldrine is one of the ones thats part of the cover-up? Neil Armstrong saw some things but hes not coming out and saying what he saw. Not every astronaut is going to come out the way Edgar Mitchel did. There is no physical evidence available to scientists but testimony from very credible sources should be enough to know they are real.
