Since you ask, I'm one of those closed-minded Eastern Orthodox Christian types. No, there's no such thing as reincarnation.
Judaism states yes there is reincarnation.

I don't mind coming back again and wish that the next life will be different than this. My aunt and uncle , twin, remember their past life and they talk among themselves when they were kids. Grandma told me she was eavesdropping on them when they were alone.

And why shouldn't plants have another go at it, too? The more research done on them, the more they seem self-aware.

Both an astrologer and a palmist told me I have an old soul. Maybe they say that to everyone.

I can certainly see the life lessons I learned this time around.

I dunno if we reincarnate. Kind of doubt it.

Again, I suggest you download the pdf on the spirit's book from the link above, and read the first 37 pages about the author, and about reincarnation, including your query about other animals, and plants.

The answers are in those first 37 pages.

Bob.

To some of us Christians that could easily be the Hell spoken of in the Bible although that would mean everyone goes to Hell and the Scriptures don't say this.

I talked to a 'psychic' she says due to being psychic she knows this is true. I said what I did above with more detail. I hope NOT. I am TIRED. I don't WANT to learn anymore lessons. She then said I've learned mine and this is my last life. *rolls eyes*. Telling me what I want to hear.

There are two views of reincarnation...well three, the third being that there is no reincarnation.
But the other two:
1.) The Eastern Religion view of reincarnation that says for the most part the soul, the identity, does not reincarnate, there are no memories of a past life. It's just part of the cycle towards nirvana.
2.) Then the Western New Age pop view brought on by movies and books and misinterpratations of religion that says yeah you can remember past lifes and by the way everyone that does remember was a king or a princess in a past life (funny, they are never a poor drunk serf).

Yeah. This.

A friend that doesn't feel this way (yet, she might still) said coming back as a cat would be ok. I said, yeah, sure, one of my cats. Or other people who take good care of them sure, but what about that one that was turned out by his people and took me two years to gain trust? He was riddled with cancer and infection and the poor baby was so psychologically effed up, he couldn't trust a human to get help sooner. Over two years he went from semi-safe place to another seeking rest/food. Maybe even longer that I wasn't aware of when I thought he was fine and belonged to someone. Would you want to be that cat?

(Her face said no!). I was like well, there you go. Can't pick which cat you'd be! And I didn't go on to HER with this, but if you come back in a place like Yemen is right now, and you're eating rocks so your stomach feels full?

No, I don't want any part of any of it. I don't even want her lessons, if that is what we are all doing. They are easier than mine, but they seem just as hard to her. No.
