Hi Icy Tea,

Yes many scholars thought that the Narnia books lacked clarity, however Michael Wards book called Planet Narnia shows that the books were written following the myths and legends of the planets, which was a secret, link below:-

Earlier in this thread, the name Albus Dumbledore was decoded, however i never said who i thought he was modeled on, we do know by J.K.Rowling that he was gay, so if my theory about the Harry Potter books are right, we need a man that was involved in gay rights, that was at the heart of The Fabian Society and the founding of the Independent Labour Party, but was also involved in writing mystical books.

I think the character fits Edward Carpenter, link below:-

He wrote Pagan and Christian Creeds, link below:-

He wrote about astrology as shown below:-

Pagan and Christian Creeds: III. The Symbolism Of The Zodiac

He also wrote about Solar myths and Christian Festivals, in general he is correct regarding dates on or near 25th December and pagan gods, however he is wrong about Osiris, who had a birthday near end of Egyptian Calendar, but this was Summer time that the calendar ended and began not Winter, anyhow it is an interesting read, link below:-

Sorry for delay, i was having operations.

There is no doubt that J.K.Rowling was inspired by myths and legends of Scotland, she set Hogwarts there, link below:-

She may have been inspired by the Gordonstoun Public School and "The Wizard of Gordonstoun".
