Any Book Recommendations? (afterlife, mediums, 'ghosts,' reincarnation, channels, etc.) (light, Egyptian)

Does anyone have any books they'd recommend on the afterlife, reincarnation, reputable mediums, or similar subjects?

So you can get a feel for my tastes, here are of my favorite books in the area:

• Heading Towards Omega, Kenneth Ring
• Lessons from the Light, Kenneth Ring
• Science and the Afterlife Experience, Chris Carter
• Walking in the Garden of Souls, George Anderson (others by him as well)
• Animals and the Afterlife, Kim Sheridan
• The Afterlife Unveiled, Stafford Betty
• Heaven and Hell Unveiled, Stafford Betty
• Messages from the Masters, Brian Weiss
• The Afterlife Experiments, Gary Schwartz

As you can see, my main interest is in the nature of the afterlife (or I suppose the spiritual realm in general). So that would include NDEs (although I feel like I've exhausted the NDE literature pretty well), "ghosts," mediums, reputable channels, and reincarnation studies.

Are there any books along those lines which you have enjoyed, and which you would recommend? I'm just looking for some good reading material in this area.

I've purchased this for my Kindle, but haven't read it yet (an Orthodox Christian view of the afterlife by a Coptic (Egyptian) Christian):

You might also want to look at the writings of Kyriacos Markides, who explores the more esoteric or New-Agey aspects of Orthodoxy particularly in Greece. I've read his "Riding the Lion" and it was quite good.

You might also find the discussion in "Jewish Views of the Afterlife" by Simcha Paull Raphael interesting; it provides a detailed view of the various Jewish strands of thought regarding the afterlife and how they've evolved over the past few millenia. I used to have a copy of the first edition but lost it somewhere along the way.

Maybe some of the Richard Bach books "Jonathan Livingstone Seagull" and "Illusions" are my favourites of his. Haven't read Illusions 2 yet though. These two are thin books so wont take much time to read but 'Illusions' is almost my bible for life.

The subject matter of his books covers wider issues than you probably want though.
