Hahaha, that was a joke right?
5000 made in the dark, each done in 1 night...where did they practice? Why no tire or foot marks...
Maybe you meant Larry and Curly?
Oh Mark S. That was the BEST....Steve and Martin Short were on Jimmy Fallon last night.
Crop Circles: The Art of the Hoax December 15, 2009
When Doug Bower and his co-conspirator Dave Chorley first created a representation of a “flying saucer nest” in a wheat field in Wiltshire, England, in 1976, they could not have foreseen that their work would become a cultural phenomenon.
...Since then, crop circles have been reported worldwide in a multitude of crops. In southern England, which sees most activity, circle-makers tend to concentrate on canola, barley and wheat...Since Bower and Chorley’s circles appeared, the geometric designs have escalated in scale and complexity, as each year teams of anonymous circle-makers lay honey traps for New Age tourists.
Crop circles demystified: how the patterns are created 02 Aug 2013
Most scientists now agree that crop circles are man-made.
This week one crop circle creator announced he has retired from the practice due to hay fever.
Matthew Williams, 42, who was the first person to be prosecuted for destruction of a farmers crops when creating a circle, also bemoaned falling standards as amateurs have taken to creating squares and circles...
Making crop circles is labour intensive so most crop circles tend to have been created by small teams of people...
By entering fields on existing tractor tracks and paths, crop circle creators can help to disguise how the crop circle got there...
Once complete, they sneak out the way came in and wait for the conspiracy theories to start flying.
Better question, why does it seems like they always tend to interact with the least credible least intelligent types of people?
Just land on the White House lawn at noon on July 4th, or at least abduct some famous, intelligent people, that are credible!
If you notice though, these types of encounters mainly happened in the past, up to about the 40s, 50s, not many UFO encounters like that reported today!! Why do you think that is?
If they were just fakes and tall tales, why do modern hoaxers not make up encounters like this and try to pass them off? Just imagine how popular someone would be if they claimed to have interacted with an alien being, when they landed....and yet there are no modern reports of this type (not that Ive seen anyway), the most recent I can think of would be in the late 50s, early 60s.

Perhaps in later years, right up to the present, people have been abducted, and never returned, so reporting the incident couldn't happen.
I am a firm believer in alien abduction, and one has to go no further than my post about flight 370 that disappeared five years ago.
I was a space kid growing up, and as such have known of the Arecibo message from a young age.
Anything replying to this so soon would be, as stated earlier before some political nonsense, be not more than 20 or so light years away, and if there was intelligent lifeforms emitting radio signals so closely, we would have certainly picked them up by now, in a likely continuous stream, the same way they would be receiving our TV and radio from a generation ago, and would have likely been receiving them before 1974 as we had been broadcasting our presence into space, if not purposely, for over 50 years by then.

How can we possibly know what kind of technology they are using for communication? It may be totally different than anything we can dream up.
You do know that Crop Circles have been debunked, right? Especially the ones in England. They were mostly all created by two guys named Bower and Chorley.
You read this huh? So let's just put this out there...Bower and Chorley are responsible for .001 of all crop circles reported....even MIT could not duplicate the circles the way the stalks were bent. Do a little research before you spout this quakery.

Actually, they did, once. They abducted a Nobel-Prize-winning physicist, but it was before he'd won the prize. He wrote about it in his post-Prize book, "Dancing Naked In The Mind Field", a collection of his personal ramblings on various topics. He encountered one, which he thought was a raccoon, on his property in rural California, and woke up the next day, lying on the ground somewhere on his acreage. He said the last thing he remembered, was the "raccoon" talking to him the night before. Months later, he saw a drawing of an alien on a bookcover in a bookstore, and recognized his "raccoon".
He also has a chapter on how AIDS is a fake epidemic, a conspiracy, and other "out there" topics. Winning the Prize apparently lead him to feel he was given a platform from which to foam at the mouth. It's still an interesting and entertaining book, though... He talks about how he was out surfing the morning his Prize win was announced. An LA newspaper headline said, "Surfer Wins Nobel Prize for Physics".

How does that saying go, "There's a fine line between genius and insanity.".
I should have made my statement a wee bit clearer, in that I would prefer them to contact/abduct a genius who is really, really, I mean really far from that insanity side!
Kary Mullis doesn't fall into that category, and he's a biochemist and won the Nobel Prize in Chemistry.
"Back in the 1960s and early '70s I took plenty of LSD. A lot of people were doing that in Berkeley back then. And I found it to be a mind-opening experience. It was certainly much more important than any courses I ever took." - Kary Mullis
