I cannot find much on the forum about giants and the skeletons found in the past.
It looks like we have to admit that something weird is going on with reports of elongated skulls, ( Link to CD thread by LittleDolphin Ancient Elongated Skulls in Peru Are Not Human ) rows of double teeth and disintergrating skeletons turning to dust when exposed to air. I know that some humans are affected by giantism and do not live very long examples such as Andre the Giant to name just one. However, I reckon this phenomena is just another set of examples showing evidence for aliens, which other people do not accept, and maintain all are normal explainable human anomalies.
The New York Times reported on May 4, 1912, the wild discovery of 18 giant skeletons in Southwestern Wisconsin. The human remains were excavated by the Peterson brothers, near Lake Delavan, with “several strange and freakish features.” They ranged in height from 231 to 305 centimeters (7’7″–10′) tall, with huge, elongated skulls, much larger than any other North American race known at the time. Many of the skulls had double rows of teeth, with the teeth in the front of the jaw being molars, not incisors.

[T]hink of a six-foot man, who suddenly became twice as big. His surface area is quadrupled, and his weight is increased eight times. With all that weight, he wouldn’t be able to stand on his own legs, because although they may have become twice as long and four times as wide, his weight in the meantime became eight times heavier. He wouldn’t be able to stand, much less chase anybody around. His legs would snap off.
I reckon this phenomena is just another set of examples showing evidence for aliens.
Why?
Seriously, why jump immediately to aliens? If we find a skeleton with some weird anomalies, why not rule out genetic mutation, disease, or look into the possibility that it isn't homo sapiens? Why not assume the much more likely explanations before leaping to the one conclusion for which we have no evidence?
Scientists are still looking into homo floresiensis, the so-called "hobbits" of Southeast Asia. But how do we know they are just an extinct species? Obviously early Indonesians were drinking unicorn blood! There can be no other explanation!

An interesting anecdote: a modern slang word for Mormon is Gray Giant or simply Giant because every summer, Mormon missionaries come to the reservation and go door to door, knocking and asking for kids, lol.
Some of these elongated skulls found in Peru and other places have red hair still attached so that matches the legends. I think there are too many stories told across the globe of finding giant bones and these cannot all be hoaxes, although there are always some people who will make up stuff to gain attention.

Those are elongated skulls, intentionally deformed in infancy, not the skulls of giants. Skull deformation was popular in various parts o Latin America, including among the Maya. It's not evidence of giants.

Just look at those tribes in Africa and Asia that put rings around their neck pushing their shoulders and collar bones down. If someone found their skeletal remains and didn't know the "back story" they might think, what's wrong with these Homo sapiens sapiens bones, maybe they're aliens!
Come on people Occam's razor, "simpler solutions are more likely to be correct than complex ones."
