I read about this guys sighting in another report, but upon reading the actual report, its probably one of the best UFO reports Ive ever seen, just because of the people who were reporting it and what it is they saw.

Assuming the article is factual, this is indeed a good sighting. Johnson would know, if anybody knows, what aircraft were state-of-the-art at the time.

I've seen a lenticular cloud, and it was at Edwards. I live in the Southeast, and the air there is remarkably clear compared to what I'm used to. Things can be seen at a distance with remarkable detail. There was no mistaking that what I saw was a cloud ... it was quite large, and even though it had the shape of a classic "flying saucer", it was easily identifiable as a cloud. I found it interesting enough to pull off the road and watch it for a while though, because I'd never seen one before. This was in the late '80s/early '90s so there were no cell phones with cameras then, and photography was prohibited on the base anyway.

I also thinks this sort of debunks the whole 'reverse engineering' theories too...if that was truly going on at that time, THIS guy would have definitely known about it and probably been involved, Its interesting no one 'got to him' and made sure he was on script(so to speak) about how he talked about this sighting (plus the 3 other guys too). Its kind of amazing they permitted them to give their honest accounts.
