It's not that they don't exist, it's just that they are so damn hard to film because they are so blurry.

That's the location I hypothesized would have a lot of sightings based on the Karst Topography maps.

https://www.nps.gov/articles/nps-geo...k-kentucky.htm

They are moving & staying mostly underground. Probably why people report such a bad smell at the time of sightings.

We have many spelunkers in the US that are always looking for a new cave to explore: https://www.livescience.com/29728-be...ps-101006.html. We hear very few Big Foot stores from spelunkers.

Even when you go to the BF believers site ( https://www.nabigfootsearch.com/caves--bigfoot.html) there is very little information to back up a claim that Big Foot hangs out underground. Keep in mind that spelunkers are always looking for signs of Native American Indians.

Then we also have our newest DNA testing that can reveal if one of these creatures has ever lived in a cave: https://www.sciencemag.org/news/2017...uman-occupants.

It explains not only the smell but the lack of visual evidence from game cams, drones, etc ...

Karst does not mean 'cave': https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Karst. While caves do exist in the Karst region; it does not mean that the whole area is connected in some form of underground railway for Big Foot. Like I said there is no current evidence pointing to Big Foot using any cave system. Besides that, even if a Big Foot traveled one 5,000 years ago, we could still find traces of its DNA in the soil of those caves.

As far as we know, from the evidence left behind, not one of those sightings proved that there was a Big Foot. We have no way to separate which ones are hoaxes or which ones were actual sightings. Every single one of them could have been a hoax; we don't know. We need evidence to make that determination. The more time that goes by and the greater the odds are that DNA or our technology would be able to verify its existence; the less likely that we will ever see that proof.

I know what Karst means & what it's potential is. I've never seen a BF but given the high consistency of details given by those who have & who did NOT believe in BF before they saw it (this is very important, IMO); I feel like I would be surrendering about 100 points off of my IQ if I were to close my mind to it.

I have never closed my mind; all I need is proof. I'm always looking; there is just nothing to see so far. We hear the campfire stories but there are better tools all the time to help prove the existence with any evidence. Every single day we manufacture and deploy better tools to spy/monitor and watch our environment. The world shrinks daily and the longer we go without proof; the greater the chance we will never see that proof.

Here is a link that states there are 5.2 billion cellphone users on our planet: https://photofocus.com/news/90-of-pe...heir-lifetime/. They go on to state that 83% of all phones have cameras. This is not even counting the game cameras, the drones, the security cameras, dash cams, and all the other cameras watching our planet 24/7.

When the Patterson film was shot in 1967 it was easy to believe that Big Foot could hide. Today it looks impossible for any large creature like that to stay hidden.

But it's not really staying hidden very well ... it's seen all the time. The sightings are brief & unexpected. I know when I'm outdoors doing the 'woodsy' thing; the very last thing I want to have in my hand is that stupid phone.

In a way; I hope we don't ever have 'proof' because I do believe they are here & I'm afraid of the human tendency to go f' things up.

Of course you aren't in your 20s!

We do have proof that people have made Big Foot hoaxes. How do we know that they are not all hoaxes? How do we know if people are simply not seeing other people in adult camouflage ghillie suits like this: https://www.armynavyoutdoors.com/adu...IaAjXGEALw_wcB. If you saw a large man in one of these as the sun was low on the horizon; would you possibly think you saw a Big Foot? There are so many perfectly good explanations for most of the sighting and without solid proof we have nothing.
