The TV show Project BlueBook did an episode about Skinwalker Ranch. I was disappointed with it because their summary was the govt. had an underground top secret project they worked on to harrass anyone on the ranch with odd lights, strategically placed speakers for sound, and a person(s) dressed up as a werewolf.
I had read other accounts from people that sound credible (even if is paranormal) but this spin from the TV show has me rethinking.

Project Bluebook (The TV show) is a fictional television show, much like the X Files. Don't take it seriously.

^^^Yep, I agree with Upstatejohn, its all fiction on tv.
In truth, the Govt wanted to find new technology for the military, that was the whole purpose of Harry Reid funding the project, they were trying to see if they could harness or tap into 'whatever it was' out there, and I believe they did have some success, since Reid tried to increase the security access to the information, and one report did conclude that 'some of the technology, the US military would be unable to defend against'...thats pretty impressive!
Native Americans do not like to talk about these things, or even mention their names, they fear doing so can attract their attention. Its said that Skinwalkers only target Native Americans though, im not sure what would happen if another race encountered one.

I read a story a little while ago, about a non-Native guy on the Navajo Rez, who suddenly fell seriously and mysteriously ill. His Dine gf picked him up, threw him in the back of her pickup, and took her to a medicine man to clean him up. She had no doubt about what had happened to him, and knew what to do and who to go to. He could have died without her help.
