IMO..sure. Why not. There are may things in this world/life that we can't verify by science. I have had my own odd and strange experiences through the years.

According to the policemen that day, and it takes a lot for people in that profession to say something like that, and open themselves up to ridicule. There were three or four policemen that were saying they heard the screams for help. It really is eerie and it made national news. My mom told me about a woman that she and her friends knew of or knew relatives of that woman. The woman was not a kind woman and mistreated the children, she was cruel and a stereotyped wicked stepmother. One night, the woman was home sleeping while the husband was working the late shift, she awoke in the middle of the night and felt someone behind her and she knew it wasn't her husband as he was working the late shift, she was terrified and turned around and there was a pale woman in the bed, it was the spirit of the children's late mother, and she was angry and told the stepmom she better treat the children better or she would haunt her the rest of her days. Needless to say, the stepmom started to take much better care of them and stopped being mean to them.

I forgot to mention my friends house, it is an old civil war generals house, that sits in Fort Wright, KY


He and his wife have lived there for over 18 years and they are always hearing and seeing things, but they say its always been 'playful' and nice, it did hide a pair of diamond earrings of hers some years back, she thought one of the workers that were remodeling their bathroom stole them, but months later, she found them when they took out a section of wall upstairs, (the earrings were inside the wall).


IF you are on the second floor, above the kitchen and the rest of the house is quiet, you can hear what sounds like 3 people coming in the back door and talking amongst themselves, however when you go downstairs there is never anyone there. Ive actually experienced this, I thought they had returned home, it truly sounded like people coming in thru the back door!

Oh, I totally remember the story I saw it on the news too. I'm just saying how some things are 'strange but true'...especially in this case.

And, I love the deceased mother story, about coming back to warn the stepmommy to take better care of her children.

I am always fascinated by the strange but true - it reminds us that there is more to to this world. I am glad you liked the ghost mother story, it kind of is a feel good ghost story.

There are intelligent hauntings, residual hauntings, poltergeist, demonic hauntings, and more.

I believe in ALL of the above.

You can also prevent interaction with trolls by going to My Settings > Edit Ignore List and adding them to your list. This will keep them from sending PMs to you. I've got 55 entries in mine.

Its pretty simple to find. Im not afraid of bullies or trolls, just don't feel like dealing with it. Ive gotten that way about this whole board.
