Versatile - you're correct, if video #1 is supposed to be a dogman, it's not making sense. During the incident I had back in 1972 in Edmonds, WA, the BigFoot thrashed the lower limb violently. But he was inside the treeline. Totally out of sight! It's so weird how these creatures try to not be seen. I heard his horrid, bone-stunning howls though and I saw that tree limb move around with a verve a human could not make. An elk? No. Now, I could go try and find some film of an elk struggling to get their antlers free from the lower end of an evergreen tree. The limb I saw move was a strong, healthy limb with a think base. I've tried to re-enact the shaking myself and my efforts seem so miniscule to theirs.

Again, that's what I love about the Patterson-Gimlin video and the 1994 video that Paul Freeman took. Paul startled a BigFoot family that went down to a creek to drink some water. The moment you first see the adult BigFoot is fascinating. And, what's more, Paul Freeman started hyperventilating - realistically hyperventilating. And, he states "I only see these things when I'm by myself. I never see them when I'm with someone."

Now, think about that. The only other creature who witnessed my '72 Edmonds event was a small black dog. And, for whatever reason, I never mentioned the event to anyone. I know that was not an elk with it's antlers stuck. It was not a dream - I was a young kid in his first teenage year when it happened, in good health. I will never forget it. That's another reason I believe I had a real BigFoot encounter. I can't forget it.

And, it made the hair on the back of my neck stand up erect. Both the dog and I trained our eyes on this huge tree limb being shook and the screams of that thing! I didn't see any other human around. Like Paul Freeman, I was by myself.

RIP Paul Freeman

Paul was an honest man. You can just hear the sincerity in his voice while he describes the BigFoot casts he's made and while he films the startled BigFoot and baby BigFoot. Lately while I view it I can't see the grown male - no doubt Daddy. But you do see one - I can't tell if it's a male or female BigFoot - and it scoops up the baby off the ground as it quickly scuttles away to the left out of the viewing scope of Paul Freeman's video camera.

It's amazing, magical, and it's alive. Those are the main two I love. There's been dozens more on film that are legitimate. Dozens. These creatures are elusive, yes, but they're out there.

More on the Patterson-Gimlin film and the supposed massacre. I am not convinced that even happened. I know that MK Davis believes it did and he's done some interesting videos on the event. There were 7 BigFoot and 6 were shot and skinned that day in 1967 at Bluff Creek, CA. What do you guys think about the "massacre?" Like I say, I'm not convinced. It's not known if Patti was shot and skinned. I'm still learning about the massacre and would really heartily welcome anyone's input on that.
What would you say the dia of the limb shaking was, from your incident? What was the dia of the base trunk also? (roughly)

It was a pine tree too...right?

I was too far away to actually see the diameter of the actual branch, but I know from growing up in the Pacific NW that Hemlock or Douglas Fir lower limb branches, right at the tree where they start coming out of the tree, they're thick. To take those and shake the limb the way I saw it you'd need to really be strong. I'd guesstimate the limb diameter to be 4" at the tree.

Hey, rstevens62, check out this video. At about 15-20 seconds, right above the freeway, you'll see a juvenile BigFoot swinging down the tree. It's there, you'll see it. The juvie is so young it looks like an average monkey, but, it's just a juvenile, though. Take a look.

Take a listen to this howl - this is close to what I heard at the treeline in Edmonds. Sounded like this. And did you hear me say LOUD? I mean read me say LOUD. Listen to what this person records in Ohio. It happens fairly early in this video - have earbuds on for the best opportunity to hear it. You'll hear it. Then, for more fun, take a look at the HUGE footprints. Ohio is a thing, apparently. Check this out.

Yes it seems they are all over OH.

Ive listened to that howling before, I agree, its coming from VERY POWERFUL lungs, not just any animal could produce a sound like that, its not physically possible, it would have to have ENORMOUS lungs.

First video, I see nothing, where is it suppose to be?

Second video, someone should analyze that sound to see what it is.

Agreed. Everyone - turn up your volume to the MAX to hear these screams. It's a long ways out there from her house but I guarantee you, if you're up closer to the BigFoot, you're gonna hear that thing LOUDLY.

I agree, UpstateJohn, the first vid is pretty lame. The person filming it swears it's a thing, I don't see it and this "thing" doesn't make any noise.

Now, the 2nd video has captured something, they say it's from Brazil, and people are saying that monkeys are common there. So this could be a monkey. It's face is really weird but yes, it could be a monkee, I spose. I'm gonna watch that 2nd one again later, after I get home from some enjoyable Wal*Mart shopping.

Ohio, in general, is a pretty flat State. Those videos were in the colder months when the leaves were off the trees. How many small airplanes fly over that area on any given day? I hope that some take a plane ride in the smaller airplanes to see what they can see from the lower altitudes. Standing on the top of the Grand Canyon one can see people riding mules a mile below. Many of the small planes can fly as low as 500 feet above the ground. It would not be that hard to spot an unusual animal at those low altitudes; especially with no leaves or snow on the ground. So where are all the aerial sightings? Where can it hide with no leaves on the trees?

That is why so many of us see nothing; because there is nothing there to see. As far as sounds; humans are capable of producing many sounds with the right equipment. If you cannot see what made the sound it is not a good piece of evidence.

I thought it looked like a bird, like a turkey vulture....
