Ugh Here we go again. The Mayan calendar does NOT say the world ends Dec 21, 2012. The Mayan calendar ends on Dec 21, 2012. Those interpreting such calendars are the ones fueling this hysteria by assuming they ended it there b'c they think the Mayans might be saying it's The End! No. The Egyptian calendar ends in 2012. The I Ching ends 2012. Many other civilizations time-lines or calendars end in 2012 with no explanation but that doesn't mean they're saying it's 'the end'.
It might be the end of the age, but the end of the world? I highly doubt it.

Wouldn't we all be shocked if the pyramid theory which claims they are aligned to guide ancient alien beings back to the planet was true. It would probably be the end of the world....for me - I would probably have a heart attack.
