I remember when I went on the Queen Mary a couple of years ago, they had a Ouija board setup in one of the rooms and the tour guide said "Go ahead use it". I said "No WAY! I've heard bad stories about people using that"

I think it was probably ten years ago I had a friend who told me she used a Ouija Board, nothing strange happened before she used it but after using one she was getting strange calls to her cell phone at 11:30pm every night, she thought maybe it was a prank caller but her caller ID was blank no number no name.

When she listened to the other line it sounded like something was breathing on the other end. This happened every night at the same exact time, so she got rid of the phone and got a new number. The calls stopped but she said if it was the Ouija Board that caused it or not, it was getting kind of creepy because it was at the same time every day. Her story made me get so freaked out by being near a board.

Totally agree, stay well clear of Ouja Boards.

I remember my sisters friends playing on one, and they started talking some dead RUC officer killed in a riot in Northern Ireland. He wasn't pleasant and a window in the house inexplicable smashed.

But I do make points.
They're not real.
You respond with a counter and I will counter that.
Instead I get replies saying to not be mean.
I expect a refute.

I was reading some other peoples ouija board experiences...and a question that was often asked of 'spirits' was..
1. 'How old are you?

2. Are you a male or female?

To me, these are dumb questions...for one...why would a spirit be male or female?
That makes no sense...people go into these things thinking so 'human' so 'flesh'...

When I think of spirit, I think more of the sun, or a star, just raw energy...
The sun is powerful, puts out light, but one doesn't think of the sun in terms of gender...it just is...

And then the age thing...

One person asked 'How old are you'...and the spirit said 'I'm 6'...

That means that spirit has only existed for 6 years...

I can really see why some of these spirits love toying with humans...

And asking the spirits name also sets up deception from the get go...

So your American, and ask a spirit 'What's your name'?...and the name of the spirit is conviently 'Dave, or Roger or Ted, or Sarah or Jill'....how convient...

It's never a Russian name or Japanese name or African name ect ect...

The spirit always seems to conviently have a name you can pronounce, and are comfortable with...(maybe that's why their called 'firmiluar spirits')

If it really were a spirit of another realm, more than likely it would have a name our tongues couldn't even pronounce...

Sometimes I think these spirits play down to our stupidity for their own kicks...
