We should at least be open minded enough to think it`s a possibility eventhough we can be skeptics or lean to the camp that doesn`t believe. It`s just the people that state their belief as unwavering fact or dogma that I don`t understand. I`m all for not believing something, being skeptical, asking tough questions,etc. But just admit that you don`t really know and there can be a variety of explanations for paranormal,alien activity, etc. On the other hand, it may be true. The only way to gain knowledge and understanding is to be open minded but at the same time remain skeptical.

Maybe..maybe not. Sometimes what you think is one thing turns out to be something else. If a person says he has seen unicorns in his backyard, would you believe him? To him it would be true. To you, your logic would tell you it was probably something else. But you would never be able to convince him that his experience wasn`t real. To him it was real. What he saw, was real. Would his experience be direct knowing? It only makes true for him.

Same thing with God. People claimed to have heard the audible voice of God or seen Jesus or angels with their own eyes. Some people would dismiss that.

People that have hallucinations believe what their mind tells them they see or hear. To them it is real. I get that. Like a mirage on a highway on a hot summer day. Up ahead it looks like water on the road. That is what your brain tells you it is based on the info it has collected over your lifetime. But we know it is just a mirage. A dream seems like a real event to us at the time it is happening.
So I would say an experience may or may not be what your mind thinks it is. But I understand that it is real to you. Again, I`m not arguing for or against aliens, ghost , or anything else. I`ve never had that kind of experience. It may be true...it may not. But I do think those people experienced something. Whether or not it is what they think it is...is a different matter. But to them, it is what their mind tells them it is.

For the love of GOD! I don't mind atheists. I just hate atheists who bash other religions. There are many books within the bible on certain chapters were everything thing is metaphoricaly poetic. Some people even believe that hell itself is a metaphor for your feelings and not the physical burning in a pit of fire and sulfur. And for the gays, I have one thing to say, love thy neighbor regardless of who they are. Thats what Jesus said, that's what i'm gonna do. IMO the words of Jesus go above ANY texts deeming gays undiserable to god. So I disregard such texts.
