''Kenco Kuma's design for the V&A at Dundee has won an award in the 2011 World Architecture News (WAN) Civic Buildings sector 'unbuilt' category. It won the award as a classic example of architecture that goes beyond the brief. The judges gave the award because the building will have a significant impact on its surrounding communities, not only visually but a great distance due to its size and highly influential design. but performing a vital function it will bring reams of tourists to the city's stunning waterfront''

Great news for my city, hopefully this will be a great boost. Having such a prestigious museum here will boost our economy and put us on the map, can't wait until it's finished.

here is the designs that were put forward, the winner was the last one.

do you think the right one was picked, I personally think it was, what do you think?

That's great news for Dundee! I do like the winning design but I also like the one by Stephen Holl. I love that long covered walkway across the water into the building - like you're entering a temple of some kind.
