Have to admit i've not seen many England flags about. Maybe they'll appear when England starts playing it's matches in Euro 2012 but at the moment Union Jacks are all over the place with the Jubillee and the upcoming Olympics.

BBC News - Euro 2012: Where are the England flags?

No flags seen here. Maybe The Euro's are a sporting competition for more dedicated football fans while the World Cup is a competition that almost everyone watches even if they dislike football and take no interest in it.

Correct me if I am wrong but maybe it has to do with the England fans not having much hope of England doing much at this competition? That could work to Englands advantage though.

Flags on every other car and outside every pub during football tournaments, are a very recent invention. The great thing about being English is not wrapping yourself in the flag like some of those insecure little nations. Or maybe with the Jubilee and forthcoming Olympics, we are just a bit flagged out.

Yeah, that's what i lean towards and like 'dunno' said the Euros isn't exactly the World Cup.

It doesn't help when people like the EDL 'hijack' the English flag.

England won't make it through the first round any way.

I can't see England getting past the group stages either. Perhaps others are equally as pessimistic and don't really care.

At least we're in it this time, unlike Euro 2008!

Seen a few flying high in the English community near Torre Del Mar but as far as the Euro 2012 goes I have a gut feeling that Spain will conquer again. It´s well saying that Scotland did not qualify AGAIN, we should stick to curling...
