Never said you are not entitled to share your opinion.
I've just argued that an opinion that says "not everyone's the same" is not an elaborated enough opinion. It's more like a "duh". No?

Not exactly to the point and in my opinion a little sarcastic. For no reason.

Well...sure...but when you look at the big picture, you CAN see trends.
I never once said that there wasn´t any trends, perhaps you would have known this if you had read my previous posts. Perhaps I do not see things as "black and white" and like to investigate rather than just look at the big picture. Something that I have a lot of experience in (countless research as part of my medical degree)

He's right though - education in the UK has deteriorated significantly. Basic skills in grammar, math, spelling etc have become a real problem amongst our youth. That's a real negative. I worked with many people who were getting good grades in university but were poor in these areas (not to mention geography or basic knowledge on internal politics).

Britain's empire was total Brawn. We ruled the world through the barrel of a gun. Your comments kind of prove my point no?

every empire including the present american one is maintained by millitary muscle , what made the british different was how it had this remarkable ability to present itself as an impecibley respectable gentleman while at the same time ,engaged in pilledging and raping in every corner of the world

I am allergic to "particularitis" because on American forums, that's pretty much where ALL discussions will derail. When you said "not everyone is this way", my allergy involuntarily returned.
Of course I do get your point and I can only imagine that England has become a whole lot more diverse than the way it looked during late 90's when I lived there.
