Exactly. Do people expect Royals to act like automatons (that would be Romney). They are human beings and he is 27. He serves in the British Army. Jeez I wish people would give him a break.

It's a good thing Diana had some influence on him cause everything I've seen from pics joking with a cop to hanging out in bars in San Diego he seems like a great guy. I think he's even make a great King. Leave him alone!

Exactly, but you can't lump every Brit with being smitten with the royals. Look at robertpolyglots comment. Work both ways!

Hit a pub and forget about it. Better yet, go see an orthodontist"

Yup, the media focuses on extremes but the US is largely secular. It's was founded that way and still is to this day. 60% associate themselves with a religion but it's mostly moderate. The extreme elements on the republican party are very much in the minority - hence the recent comments on abortion causing polls to plummet in congressional races around the country.

To the denizens of the UK sounding off, along with the Californian I'm quoting:
I do not trust any politicians.
I don't read tabloids.
I tend to vote Democrat.
My religious views are moderate.
I think the Kardashians are pond scum.

The thing with the Royals IS annoying. The only time any American politician got such tabloid attention in recent times is when Clinton was doing Monica. Other than that, we are not inundated with garbage about the Presidents' family lives.

I'll have to make one minor correct in your comment: Monica was doing Clinton.

True. Intercourse would have meant he was doing her. Oral sex means she was doing him. I stand corrected.

Well did he let a young woman drown in 7' of water while he and his friends walked away? No. Did he brutally rape a young woman only to have his politically empowered family sweep it under the rug? No. Nobody died. He is just a young man and they do what young men do sometimes.
