It has nothing whatsoever to do with independence.

The young boy was found dead in Fife. His mother has been detained, they are also searching the houses of her relatives.

Just because people don't post here doesn't mean that they are not touched by what has happened.

And, after all, it is not a contest. I don't see any basis for comparison myself.

My saying that it is a very sad event now that the lad has been found dead doesn't add anything to the thread.

People can contribute to the bawdy toaster thread with jokes, and the thread goes spinning along its way.

This story is heartbreaking and the information that I fear will come out over the next few days could be sick.

With his mother arrested and now charged, a story of a child who wandered and was lost has possibly turned into a sick act by his mother.

We all hoped he would be found and returned safe, but I just don't know what to say to the stories that are now appearing. It's horrifying.

RIP Mikaeel. Thoughts with the rest of his family, especially his brothers and sisters. His twin, who i'm sure it will hit harder than anyone in the long run will need all the support from the public, friends and family.

This isn't nice.
