Car hire recommendations (York area) (rental, home, cars)

Planning a trip back home in May and need to hire a car.

Can anyone recommend any care hire companies around the York area?

I have details for some hire with Holiday autos otherwise but just wondered if there were any local companies in or around York.

Daily rental for cars and vans in York, Wakefield, Sunderland and Middlesbrough

They're pretty good, although they are the only company I've used in York. They did come recommended so I guess they have a good rep.

Not sure about the big national companies.
