Which regional American accent do you Brits find the easiest to imitate and which one do you find the hardest to imitate ?

In terms of percentage, virtually none can do it right. These things took a few hundred years to develop. They aren't that easy to replicate.

Some British people can do a pretty good American accent. Have you ever watched The Walking Dead ?

Perhaps they can to your ear, but I can hear almost any foreigner doing an American accent (even if I don't know the actor), Rick included. It takes a lot of work when it isn't natural. Very few people can get away with it, especially a good regional accent.

The Walking Dead, The Wire, Homeland, even films such as Lincoln or 12 Years a Slave etc.

British actors in general are better at it than the other way around, very very few American actors can convincingly put on foreign accents.

I've heard British actors translate from the posh British accent to the posh Southern accent very well.
