So? Answers? To me a stroller is either a person walking or something on wheels that you push a baby in.

I don't know what a towncar is. No idea at all.

Get into car discussions and you could go all day. I've forgotten what you call a station wagon car. It'll come to me.

That IS what we call them. Limos are called limos and jeeps are called jeeps.

A towncar is the name of a model of car by Lincoln. The Lincoln TOWNCAR. Like the Volkswagen Jetta.

Speaking of cars/automobiles, If I recall correctly, an Estate (UK) is a Sedan (US). An Estate (US) typically refers to property (generally a significant sized house and/or land acreage).

A Saloon (UK) is a Station Wagon (US). A Saloon (US) ids a pub/bar hangout place in popularized in 19th century Western US.

Man oh man, could I ever have fun with this one. (If I knew enough).

My dh had an estate car in England and it was a station wagon. He used it as a taxi sometimes for taking people to the airport.

Here in the US we now have a station wagon. To him a wagon is a truck. But he does call our car a station wagon. The other day he saw a kid with a wagon and he pointed and said, "WAGON." (yes, a wagon)

A saloon is something out of a western tv show and I think you are right that it means some kind of car in the UK.
