How is this benefiting the discussion? You're just having a dig and really not contributing to this thread. You're just using the "Plastic Paddy" thing to whack people on the head with. It really says more about you. It would be nice if you could leave your prejudices behind or at least make an effort.

In my experience proper Irish people have the ability to laugh at themselves.
It's only the Plastic Paddies who take offence.
Here's Liam Neeson getting involved in the craic.

People aren't as stupid as you apparently think they are. It's obvious you are trying to offend. Everyone can see you're a bigot and not trying to be humorous. The majority of your posts are deliberately provocative.

Posting a YouTube video of Saturday Night Live is bigotry ?
I call it a bit of light relief in the endless historical ping pong that is this thread.
Real Irish people don't take themselves that seriously.

No one on this thread is "Real Irish" according to you. We are all Plastic Paddies and I could quote some of your comments on those "Real Irish" so stop trying to deflect and pretend that you are in any way trying to lighten things up when you constantly make derogatory remarks.

It really would help your insults a little more if you could learn to use punctuation a little better.
It's not difficult if you use some effort you know.
Anyway, here's the lovely Saoirse Ronan taking the mickey,so to speak. So much more interesting than boring on about some slight against the Catholics 500 years ago.

Tbh, it 's no less constructive than much of what I've read here. Just an endless back and forth over the same issues.

Suffice to say, the Irish question certainly won't been solved in this thread, so might as well liven it up with the occasional joke here and there
