Jezer, no not yet. I know Chester is over that direction, but I haven't had the opportunity to look into other areas that this time. We like to live 'in the city' so long as there is a large park nearby with all of the little shops and restaurants too. How long would the commute be about? The job I am looking at would be on the River, so there certainly is a possibility that it might be just as close as some of these other areas that are mentioned.

It's ages since I have been up there- used to do some work with one of the Universities- so best I leave details to those better in the know.

Another question. Will it be difficult to find a flat/house that allows two indoor only cats?

Similar threads involving this question, though normally referring to dogs, would suggest that it may be an issue.

I guess that you are familiar with the regulations about bringing in a pet to the UK?
