Had Pierce Brosnan been able to get out of his TV contract back in the 1980s I think he could have been a good JB. Unfortunately he wasn't able to take the job in his later years around the age when other Bond actors were leaving for other projects. To me, the worst Bond actors were the Australian in On Her Majesty's Secret Service and Timothy Dalton. Dalton isn't a bad actor, he just seemed to be gruff and not tap into the character's history.

Once again, Martin Clunes. Just pin his ears back, and he'll be fine. He has all the charm needed for the role...

The Australian is named George Lazenby. He may have "grown into the part" had he decided not to quit after OHMSS.

I've heard many people say that this was one of the very best bond films too, though to be honest its not one of my favourites.

You need to qualify your choice of a black actor? "I'm not a hippy pinko, don't get me wrong but..."
