If the British and usa are such good friends, why cant the British people enter the green card lottery we are excluded from applying. The only way us Brits can live in usa is have loads of money, or marry US native or set up a buisness we cant be your best friends or you would not put in these rules?

It is the same for Americans wanting to settle in the UK, outside of marriage - it is near impossible.
As for Americans I have met, there have been a fair few who have been critical of Britains historical
role - as many as the vocal Brits who slate America about their current foreign policy. I have met lots of
good, decent Americans and consider them my friends but the biggest idiots I have worked alongside
have also been American - they have the best and worst I have found.
Most people I know (Americans) generally like the UK and British culture overall, though there exposure is often limited to mass media. I can't think of anyone offhand that actually dislikes the UK because of our history with them--to me that seems incredibly obnoxious, but most of my friends don't consider themselves particularly patriotic either.

The US need would be?
America's immigration laws are prehistoric and should be changed soon. That doesn't mean it will be easier for you to move here, nor should it, unless you meet the current economic needs. Britain isn't poor or brutal enough for asylum

I would say the exact same about my fellow Brits. Some of the dumbest and geographically challenged by some considerable margin. Some of the most hypocritical too.

Yes I wonder this so. Alot of British people choose Australia instead as it much easier to move to than the USA. Perhaps if the immigration rules for the USA was a lot more lax then Australia would not get as much British immigrants.
