However the EU Commission is appointed by the commissioner, so all offices of the EU Commission are unelected too.

So only one unelected bureaucrat.
Yes, Juncker was elected by the European Council, but not a single vote was ever cast in his name by the actual public. Which isn't surprising since in the previous year he stepped down as Prime Minster of Luxembourg after being caught up in a huge scandal.

It shows the caliber of the EU's leadership when formerly disgraced politicians are parachuted into such senior positions. Of course Tony Blair has long sought the EU Presidency, he seems like the right kind of fit for the job. Being a sleaze, compulsive liar, war criminal, among other things.

That's irrelevant - different countries elect their presidents/queens and kings in different ways.
Juncker does his job well, the only country who is strongly opposed to him and accuses him to be an alcoholic seems to be the UK.

An appointment election. He's still appointed.

The voters did not get to vote for the EU presidency (at all, even the US has the EC, which apportions EC votes according to public votes for the candidates for office).

Its a pretty big hat to wear when the public don't get to vote on it.

Does his job well!! Did you hear what came out of his mouth today! He is supposed to be a serious politician not a 10 year old school bully! Brexit is democratic political decision its not about conflict!

Democracy may be irrelevant to you, but not to us.

Thanks.

That article was decades ago. For whatever reason I thought it was the Vega, but you're right. Nova. It was just my way of trying to say that product name changes are not rare when it's being marketed to many nations.

Sometimes we know about it, other times we don't

Luxleaks came after Juncker was elected by the Council and approved by the Parliament.

UK system is not that different. Theresa May won a small constituency, and she is now Prime Minister.

Imagine if instead of setting up shop in the US this guy had travelled the twenty miles across the English Channel and tried to set up in Calais instead?

American people (or other Anglo's for that matter) are FAR LESS likely to look down their noses at British business than our 'friends' across the Channel so it could just be that Britain leaving the EU will make everyone happy.
It may be that it is easier for Anglosphere nations to understand (and appreciate) the Brits than continental Europeans.

Tusk said that Johnson, Farage, Davis, Rees‑Mogg, Gove - the Brexit heroes will burn in a special place in hell.
