I agree I've seen it before..... One that out run a copper that was overweight.

But I'm sure if there was an out cry they would play the discrimination card.....

As far as the image goes it's the same as having an overweight personal trainer IMO ......

I wonder what would happen if an overweight police officer patrolling the beat on foot, suddenly had to give chase but suffered a stroke and died!?

Where would the blame lie then?

Him as its his job to apprehend criminals but he physically couldn't.

Yes, I suppose you could say everyone is responsible for their own weight, and has the ability to lose weight if they wish to do so.

your right Star, only these officers are there and paid to protect us not just themselves.. Can you see some of the really big heavy police who dont exercise climbing over walls and running like this..
