LINCOLNSHIRE - I've gone off you I have just had two slices of squidgy toast and jelly. And you know what my son had in his packed lunch - Peanut Butter and Fluff sandwiches I'll leave that one to your imagination. Just remember all that bacon is bad for you.

ontheroad - thanks for the link. I've looked at the British food websites before but I haven't seen the HP curry sauce. Is this new or has there always been HP curry sauce. I'm not missing curry houses as we have a really good selection of Indian restaurants in the NW suburbs of Chicago. Plus we can walk to a couple of bar/restaurants from our house also.

Not certain of the newness of HP curry sauce. I'd hazard a guess that it came about with the influx of Indian restaurants in Britain and elsewhere.
And good that you have some access. I did until recently but now that I am in rural and I mean rural country, I have to drive a good distance for even some of the most average fare.
In fact, in a half hour, I'm off 40m away to check out a shop or three. While driving perhaps I'll imagine Kent.

Your right,,I feel guilt ridden every time I partake. Luckily by the time I get halfway through the plate the feeling has gone, to be replaced with a wonderful warm glow centred on my taste buds....
