There was nothing gutsy or ballsy about the vote. It was pretty stupid and thoughtless. Anyway as the saying goes in this country. It isn't over until the fat lady sings.

Just repeating what I said before. Some overwhelming majority!!!!

Out of 46m eligible voters, 17m voted to leave, 16m to stay. and 13m didn't bother to show up.

NORTH AMERICAN free trade agreement (Canada, Mexico, USA)

It's the UK a North American country now?
Does Turkey border the North Atlantic? But yet it is a member of NATO.

Trade blocs such as EFTA and the EU have made trade deals with individual countries.

One concept is a new trade deal negotiated between the EU and Brexit Britain. (A lousy one, I suspect).

Another idea would be a trade deal between EFTA and Brexit Britain.

Other concepts I have come across:

A trade deal between the Pacific Alliance and Brexit Britain.

An "associate" relationship with NAFTA.

It is just a bit ridiculous to see the position some British naively have in regards to their relationship with the US.

1. USA is far more powerful and bigger than the UK, the US will NEVER look at the UK as an equal. That will NEVER happen. Our Equals are China, Russia, perhaps India and Brazil. The UK no way!

2. Comments such as We'll join NAFTA just shows how deluded some British are. What makes you think we want you? NAFTA is ran by the US and it has only two other states, Canada and Mexico. The UK has nothing to offer, it's not even on the same continent! NAFTA has given the US extensive control over North America, the last thing we want is a small European country with delusions of 19th century superpower in NAFTA.

3. The comments about India are hilarious and so out of touch with reality! Hey Brits.... YOU NEED INDIA, not the other way around! Nowadays India has the privilege to create strong economic connections with plenty of countries. (Recently India is closing ties with South American countries for example). Britain has little to offer to India!

4. America has many special relationships with France, Canada, Germany, Mexico, China, Russia, Cuba, Israel. What makes you think you're far more special than the rest? Take a number! You need us more than we need you!
Yes we found that out when Bush needed Blair, and Blair was paid off handsomely for sellng our soldiers. War crimes both committed.. Tony Blair was once the UK’s great hope and a hugely talented politician, but now he now stands as a lesson for us all in the dangers of elevating America’s interests over our own.
Blairs blind subservience to Bush destroyed his reputation in this country and in much of Europe.

I have never heard this before. Blair was paid off handsomely for selling your soldiers? Would you care to explain. Thank you.

If you read the latest disclosed correspondence between Blair and Bush, it's fairly obvious that it was Blair persuading Bush to invade Iraq. Not that he needed much persuasion. But still, Blair was actively promoting the idea to Dubya.

That still does not confirm or explain dizzy's claim that Blair was handsomely paid off for selling british soldiers. Unless he/she has some evidence I would be careful making such statements.
