I am wondering why the violence against European immigrants? And who are the perpetrators, are actually ethnic British the perpetrators or is it Arab thugs or something the like that attack white immigrants for whatever reason?

For your information there was a financial krach in 2011 (from July to November) after US QE2 ended!

It should be noted that a high percentage of recorded crime in the UK is of a very minor level, indeed over half of all violent crimes in the UK result in no injury to anyone, which is because things like Harassement, Common Assault and Public Order offences are included.
Overall for a country of 65 million people we have very low rates of serious violent crime and murder, and any rise in racism is often attributed to police actually taking the issue more seriously and investigating and recording it. The Police now make any hate crime a priority and the Courts take such issues in to consideration when sentencing.
Hate Crime Figures in the UK don't just include racism, the second biggest cause of reporting is in relation to Disability and then you have Religious Hate Crime (including Sectarianism) , Gay Hate Crime, Transgender Hate Crime, and some police forces have even started recording Misogyny and Harassement of Women as a hate crime, including builders wolf whistling at women.
Of course hate crime is going to increase if they keep expanding the definitions and parameters, as to what constitutes hate crime and with the adevent of Social Media, Youtube and the Internet even more hate crime can now be recorded, as guess what the police in the UK record stuff written on the internet as Hate Crime as well. In terms of Brexit, yes there was an increase in hate crime but the vast majority of it would have been trivial, just as much of recorded violent crime here is trivial.
It also should be noted that hate crime isn't just a white issue, and there have been issues between Asians and the Black population in some areas, and Somalias aren't well liked by sections of the Black Community, whilst different Muslim groups are often discriminated against as was seen in the recent killing of a Ahmadi Muslim Shopkeeper in Glasgow by a Sunni Muslim, many Muslims openly dislike each other, and the Ahmadi are especially hated by many Muslims meaning they live in fear of attack and the same is true of other religions.
Hate Crime covers a wide range of issues and is quite complex, to simply state Hate Crime Figures have gone up is also too simplistic, in reality what has happened is there has been an increase in recorded hate crime but this is hardly surprising given that such crimes were in the past hardly the police priority they are now, it's also not just a white issue it covers all communities, ethnic groups and religions.

Meaning these occurrences, whatever the magnitude, were more likely to be reported post-brexit. So even the most insignificant infraction, that might have previously been ignored, is being given more importance. In the grand scheme of things, a bad as some of these attacks are, the UK is still one of the most tolerant nations on earth.

It seems that there is resentment on the part of many UK citizens against Eastern Europeans. I'm addicted to Channel 5's Benefits series and many of the unemployed guys there talk about not being able to get jobs because of Polish, Romanians etc. who work for less. They have to compete with people who will work for 1/2 or 1/3 the salary. Thes are mostly for trade jobs for non college-educated workers. The EU forced Britain to provide benefits to the newcomers, some of whom don't even have benefits in their own countries.
They are just taking advantage. BTW there are non-white British-born who can't get jobs either, thanks to the EU's forcing the UK to take euro zone workers. The EU also forced the UK to reduce the number of immigrants they let in from former colonies. Like it or lump it, those are the people who made the UK rich. Does it make sense to cut them out of the country in preference to people who have nothing to do with the UK?
