My Great Great Grandfather was the the last train driver to go over the bridge before it collapsed.

The Clyde Muirshiel National Park near where I come from.

I have very good memories from this place when I use to go mountain biking here.

Here are some photos of our recent vacation to the UK, my first trip off the rock known as North America!



Do I need to caption? I used the term "amazing" a lot there.



Flogging the rental car up and over the pass in the Lake district, the roads were a bit narrower than I am used to and led to a few white knuckle moments at first.




I wasn't prepared for the roads, as my bride rolled confidently through these windy little roads, stone walls on one side and fields. Once I got used to them I loved it, and kept thinking about riding these roads on a proper British bike like a Triumph Bonneville or Scrambler.
